WASH plays a crucial role in improving the health and quality of life in slums. In these areas, access to clean water, proper sanitation facilities, and hygiene practices is often limited, leading to various health issues, including waterborne diseases, malnutrition, and poor overall health. Access to clean toilets and private washing facilities help restore dignity and improve safety, especially for girls, by reducing the risks of public defecation or harassment. CFH strides to provide access to safe usable toilet at every Learning Centre. The toilets attached to Learning Centres are repaired and renovated and made functional for use by centre children. Good toilet facilities encourages senior girls to attend Learning Centres more regularly. Our WASH approach includes hygiene education to children on the importance of hand washing, sanitation practices, safe water storage, and maintaining cleanliness in homes.
