Amit comes with 30+ years of versatile experience in social development. An expert in Project Management, Grants Management and Monitoring & Evaluation, he has worked in key positions with national and international donor organisations.

He excels in Organization Development and Human Resources. He has widely travelled in Asia and Africa and is passionate about working for children.

Amit is an alumni of Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS)

ARPANA LUTHRA

DIRECTOR

Arpana, is a seasoned trainer, and has experience of developing manuals and materials for capacity building of trainers. She has extensively travelled for educational projects and research in India.

Particularly to the rural and tribal areas including, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, and Karnataka and internationally to South Africa, Laos, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Vietnam, and Bangladesh.

She holds a Master’s degree in Community Resource Management & Extension from Lady Irwin College, University of Delhi.

DR. HARVINDER SINGH BAKSHI

STRATEGIC ADVISOR

Dr Harvinder Singh Bakshi, brings with him almost five decades of rich experience which embraces program management, training, partnership development, strategy formulation, communication and advocacy and resource mobilization including building and nurturing CSR partnerships.

He spent major portion of his career at HelpAge India, the premier age care organization and later headed Global Cancer Concern India (GCCI)as its Chief Executive Officer. During his leadership, GCCI, was honoured by Kerala Government and by Punjab Government 

Holds a PhD degree in Sociology, and has Post Graduate qualifications in Journalism and Industrial Relations. 

He is also the winner of the prestigious Indian Achievers’ Award 2020 for CEO of the Year (social category).

KATHRYN MACPHEE

EDUCATION & CHILDREN

Kathy, is a qualified teacher by profession, based in Perth, Australia, and is extremely passionate about working with children, especially those who are pushed into vulnerabilities due to local situations.

She left mainstream teaching and chose to teach in the New Arrivals program. Here she had the privilege of working with children from diverse cultural backgrounds, including those children, who had fled war and overcrowded refugee camps to start new lives in Australia with their families.

Kathy spent quality time teaching English to teachers and students, during her annual visits to CFH Learning Centres. She continues to be a mentor and it is our honour to have Kathy with us. 

VOLKER WÄSCH

COMMUNICATION & BRAND BUILDING

Volker is an award-winning creative director and UX/UI designer based in Germany with over 20 years of experience in the digital economy. He is passionate about developing user-centric digital products and works for international agencies and clients like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Panasonic and General Electric.

ALEXANDRA WÄSCH

COMMUNICATION & BRAND BUILDING

Alexandra a renowned creative director based in Germany with a proven track record of success in the digital economy. Alexandra is passionate about using her skills as a designer to make a positive impact on the world, and she is always looking for new challenges. She works for international agencies and clients like Olympus, Dräger and Jungheinrich.

Both Alexandra and Volker have been regular annual visitors to CFH centres. They are passionate about working with children and have together designed and organized numerous workshops at CFH centres to foster creativity, resilience and self-esteem of girls. Some of the workshops include Kids and Cameras, Art classes, Mask making, and English Communication.
