This learning centre in Sanjay Colony is a centre with one classroom run in two shifts – for seniors in the morning shift and for juniors in the afternoon shift. The seniors attend the centre before going to the government school and juniors attend the centre after they come back from the government school. Our teacher, Manisha runs the two shifts and the centre is open six days a week. 

Beside our centre activities we teach the children Hindi, English and Mathematics according to their academic level and help them to cope with their school studies and excel in their class.

Reading is an integral part of everyday activities and is compulsory for every student.

CENTRE ACTIVITIES

Beside the tuition we run several activities in all our centres to foster the skills and the knowledge of our children in a playful way. For example with a skit prepared by children about fresh food vs junk food.

THE COMMUNITY

In the south side of Delhi a single road is leading from Chattarpur deep into the green belt of Delhi to Bhati Mines. Here you will find Sanjay Colony, an unauthorized slum settlement of migrant families from different States with about 10,000 families.
