CENTRES GET NAMES.

All the Learning Centres being run by Concern for Humanity get an identity – they get a name. We have selected a mix of names of people who have contributed to the society at large. And it’s Concern for Humanity’s way of showing it’s gratitude to individuals who have been of immense support to us.

THANK YOU ALEX AND VOLKER

We are extremely thankful to Alex and Volker for helping CFH in the face lift. Alex & Volker used their professional expertise to completely revamp the CFH website – they redesigned the logo (made it even more meaningful), made the website catchy, interactive and more engaging.

VISIT BY NICOLE STEINER, A VOLUNTEER WITH "NOON.CH".

Nicole visited a few centres and spent time with children. Children were too excited to meet with her. Nicole has been a frequent visitor to Delhi, hence it was easy for her mingle with children. They presented her handmade greeting cards, wall hangings and handmade small gifts. She was much touched by their affection and the warmth with which they interacted with her. She carried back fond memories of children by way of the group selfies that she took with the children.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION.

This year on the Independence Day celebration, children participated in passage writing competition. The teachers discussed about the topics beforehand so that children get the concept clarity about the topics that they have been given to them. The passages written by children were checked by other teachers to overcome personal bias of teachers of the respective centres. Three prizes in each category were given away to children.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY.

On 21 June, 2017, Yoga Day was observed at all CFH centres. Children were very enthusiastic about the Yoga Day and even rain couldn’t stop them from participating. They reached the centres well before time. All teachers had done prior practice with children and on the yoga day they did the exercises with full energy. The Field Supervisor spoke with children about the benefits of yoga and also participated in doing the exercises. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the event.

CHILDREN`S DAY CELEBRATION.

Children’s day was celebrated with full enthusiasm at all the centres. Painting competitions, passage writing competitions, games and activities were organized at all the centres. Sports Day was the main attraction of the day.
