KIDS AND CAMERAS – PHOTO CLASS 2018
In 2018 we started in cooperation with two Designers from Germany a photo class for a selected group of our students to show them new ways of creativity and self expression.
In this aspect, our project goes far beyond the medium of photography. The students who confront the world with a simple digital camera are not staging themselves. They deal with perspectives, views, details, light and colors. For the first time, they learn that it is important and right to have an opinion on something – an opinion without which no artistic or documentary act can emerge, an opinion that gives voice and weight. The photo class in 2018 was a huge success and the countdown for the next classes is already ticking. In January 2019 will have two classes – a new beginner class and an advanced class.
The twenty girls of the first class created a huge amount of photos – much to much for this website. So we decided to create a project website where you can find more detailed information about the workshop and the lessens and where you can browse through the pictures of each student.
